According to CoinMeta, FBI counterintelligence agent Patrick Yaroch was arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing approximately $1 million in digital assets from "opponent cryptocurrency accounts." In his self-report, Yaroch stated that he felt frustrated due to his inability to stop his opponents from using cryptocurrencies, so he entered the FBI system to find the keys and transferred the funds from multiple opponent wallets to his own account. He created a Kraken personal cryptocurrency wallet and made 10-12 transfers, with a total value of about $1 million. The funds transferred by the FBI agent from the Kraken and Slush accounts amounted to approximately $925,426.07.
