According to CoinMeta, Nvidia ( NVDA ) recently announced that its Vera CPU is being used in electronic design automation workflows to produce its next generation of CPU and GPU. Early tests have shown a 1.5-fold improvement in verification and simulation performance. Nvidia expects Vera to generate approximately $200 billion in addressable server CPU revenue and forecast Vera sales of around $20 billion for this fiscal year. Meanwhile, AMD ( AMD ) is also evaluating a new workflow in collaboration with Microsoft ( MSFT ) for Synopsys ( SNPS ) to accelerate the design of its next-generation chips. Despite Nvidia's stock price having been mediocre over the past year, its technological advancements and market potential continue to attract investor attention.
