According to CoinMeta, in the past few days, four oil tankers have completed loading at a port in the Black Sea that is crucial for Kazakhstan's crude oil exports. Based on ship tracking data, two of the four ships that completed loading since last Friday have left the waters of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) docks off the Russian coast. At least three more oil tankers are nearby waiting to be loaded, but it is not yet clear whether they have completed their operations. The continuous loading of crude oil by the CPC system will provide some relief to the global market. The crude oil transported by CPC comes from joint ventures between Kazakhstan and oil giants such as Chevron. Under normal circumstances, CPC accounts for nearly 2% of the global crude oil supply, and Kazakhstan is the second-largest source of crude oil imports for Europe. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Kazakhstan stated over the weekend that producers are still continuing to transport crude oil to the docks, but the flow rate is below normal levels. The maritime docks are ready to load crude oil at pre-attack levels, but the export speed depends on the number of available oil tankers and weather conditions.
