According to CoinMeta, on the 3rd local time, Israel's Parliament's Foreign and Defense Committee voted to approve the government's request for an extension, extending the emergency mobilization order of the military by two months until September 30th of this year. Under this decision, the Israeli Defense Forces are authorized to conscript up to 240,000 reservists. Since the outbreak of a new round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict in 2023, such requests to extend the emergency mobilization period have been approved every few months.
