According to CoinMeta, Salesforce ( CRM ) has signed a three-year contract with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs ( VA ) worth a total of $1.6 billion. The contract aims to utilize artificial intelligence technology to improve work processes and service delivery, further solidifying the more than ten-year partnership between Salesforce and the Department of Veterans Affairs. VA serves over 17 million veterans and their families, with a network covering 170 medical centers and more than 1,100 outpatient clinics. The organization handled over 82 million direct care appointments in 2025. The Department of Veterans Affairs is investing in artificial intelligence and cloud technology to improve efficiency and reduce the administrative workload.
