According to CoinMeta, Russia's natural gas exports to Europe decreased by 5.2% in July 2026 compared to the same period last year. Data shows that Russia's energy giant Gazprom continued to see a decline in natural gas supplies to Europe through the underwater “Turkish Stream” pipeline in July this year, with an average daily delivery volume of 48.8 million cubic meters, which is lower than the same period last year. Currently, Turkey is the only remaining transit route for Russian natural gas to enter Europe. According to data from the European Natural Gas Transport Group (ENTSOG), the total amount of natural gas supplied to Europe through the Turkish Stream in July was 1.51 billion cubic meters, which is lower than the 1.59 billion cubic meters in July 2025. However, in the first seven months of this year, Russia's cumulative supply of natural gas to Europe through this route reached approximately 10.25 billion cubic meters, representing a year-on-year increase of 3.5%.
