According to CoinMeta, Switzerland's inflation rate slowed down to its lowest level in four months in July, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) rising by 0.4% year-on-year, lower than the 0.5% in June, in line with economists' expectations. Although rising prices of diesel and heating oil brought cost pressures, declines in prices of goods and services such as clothing and car rentals offset this impact. The core inflation rate, after excluding volatile factors, remained at 0.3%. People familiar with the matter revealed that, based on the current weak inflation trend, the Swiss Central Bank expects interest rates to remain at zero until the end of next year.
