According to CoinMeta, as reported by bits and media, Russian law enforcement officers conducted searches at cryptocurrency exchange offices within the Federal Oriental Tower, a commercial center in Moscow. The police stated that this operation is related to a theft case involving 144 million rubles, and it is suspected that the funds involved were transferred through these exchanges. They are currently tracing the transactions and investigating whether any employees of the offices were involved. During the investigation, dozens of exchange staff members were detained. A Moscow court has taken compulsory measures against 8 of the individuals involved, while the legal status of the remaining personnel remains unclear. As a result, the offices have temporarily ceased operations.
