According to CoinMeta, data on national marine economy statistics released by the Ministry of Natural Resources on August 3rd shows that in the first half of the year, the number of new orders for sea vessels in China increased by 105.2% year-on-year, while the completion volume and the number of orders in hand grew by 34.8% and 37.1% respectively. The global market share for these three indicators reached 73.9%, 55.4%, and 63.3% respectively, continuing to maintain a leading position globally. In addition, more than 40 large container ships with a capacity of over 10,000 TEUs, ultra-large crude oil carriers, and large liquefied natural gas transport ships were delivered in the first half of the year, and some shipbuilding companies have orders scheduled for after 2029.
