Israel questions Hamas' disarmament commitments

According to CoinMeta, Israel has expressed “serious security concerns” regarding the Hamas disarmament agreement with the White House. The Prime Minister’s Office stated that intelligence assessments indicate that Hamas still plans to rebuild its military forces rather than truly demilitarize. Israel claims that it will not withdraw from most of the Gaza areas it currently controls until Hamas completes its disarmament. Hamas, on the other hand, stated that it will begin to disarm in accordance with Trump’s 20-point ceasefire plan, which requires the organization to hand over weapons and destroy tunnels, as well as involves Israeli troop withdrawal, a new Palestinian government, and international security forces. However, it is unlikely that Israel will withdraw its troops on a large scale before the October elections.
