According to CoinMeta, FTX commenced its fifth round of creditor distribution on July 31, paying out approximately $900 million to qualified creditors. FTX stated that qualified claimants can receive funds through Kraken, BitGo, or Payoneer. This payment covers claims that were approved before June 16. FTX's repayment efforts have made progress nearly four years after the exchange collapsed, and the trust also plans to announce separate record and payment dates in the future. It is estimated that the total repayment amount to customers and creditors could reach $16.5 billion before FTX.
