According to CoinMeta, the price increase of Bitcoin in July overcame the impacts of the Federal Reserve's hawkish policies, the collapse of artificial intelligence trading, and security incidents related to Coldcard. Although Bitcoin fell below $63,000 on Friday, a decrease of about 3% for the day, it is still expected to end July with a gain of around 7.5%, demonstrating strong market resilience. Analysts pointed out that rising expectations of Federal Reserve interest rate hikes, climbing bond yields, and high-profile security incidents involving Coldcard hardware wallets all put pressure on the market. However, Bitcoin managed to avoid a deeper correction and remained above the bear market lows. Bitfinex Analysts stated that the current leverage level in the crypto market is lower than that in the stock market, and after the sell-off at the end of June, derivatives traders have significantly reduced their leverage. Despite the Coldcard incident resulting in the theft of at least $38 million worth of Bitcoin, it did not have a substantial impact on prices. Analysts expect the market to remain cautious before the release of the next U.S. employment report, focusing on the inflow of funds into Bitcoin ETF.
