According to CoinMeta, a 10xResearch report indicates that on the macroeconomic front, the S&P 500 index is affected by AI capital expenditure scrutiny, putting pressure on chip manufacturers. Meanwhile, strong performances from companies such as Coca-Cola, Boeing, and Casio have driven funds away from large tech stocks towards more traditional industries. On NASDAQ, Google's parent companies Alphabet and Meta face selling pressure due to their data center expenditure plans, while Microsoft's strong cloud business and Apple's market value exceeding $5 trillion provide some support. Regarding the US dollar index, the Federal Reserve's decision to maintain stable interest rates was interpreted as less hawkish than expected, leading to a significant decline in the dollar. Traders closed their positions and postponed expectations for interest rate hikes. As for gold, the weakening dollar helped keep the gold price above $4,000. With diminished expectations for a rate hike in September, there is support for further gains in gold prices, although high yields have limited the rebound. The yield on 10-year Treasury bonds soared due to internal inflation disagreements within the Federal Reserve and weak auction demand, resulting in a steeper yield curve, with capital flowing into high-yield corporate bonds.
