Zeng Ailing previously worked for three years at Tencent's Hunyuan & AI Lab team and the International Digital Economy Research Institute, before joining AI company under MiHuyou founder Cai Haoyu, where she was responsible for developing interactive multimodal video generation systems. Bilibili stated that its investment in AI mainly focuses on video understanding, recommendation, and assisted creation. Bilibili has been looking for a stable leader for this business area, and Zhang Di, former vice president of Kuaishou, briefly held this position. In 2024, Bilibili launched the basic large model Index, which is applied in video content creation, understanding, and distribution scenarios.
