Amazon Receives $600 Million in Tariff Refunds from Trump and Will Return Part of It to Customers

According to CoinMeta, Amazon disclosed on Thursday that due to the Supreme Court's ruling that Trump's tariffs were illegal, the company received approximately $600 million in tariff refunds and expects to return some of that cash to its customers. Amazon's Chief Financial Officer, Brian Olsavsky, stated, "We are involved in the tariff refund process, and as I mentioned before, we received about $600 million in refunds in the second quarter." In addition, Apple stated that its earnings per share increased by 5% in the third quarter due to the tariff refunds.
