According to CoinMeta, on July 31st, options on Bitcoin and Ethereum expired, with a combined notional value of approximately $10.43 billion. 149,000 Bitcoin options expired, valued at $9.6 billion, with a put-call ratio of 0.28, and the maximum pain point price was $64,000. At the same time, 435,000 Ethereum options expired, valued at $830 million, with a put-call ratio of 0.63, and the maximum pain point price was $1,850. After expiration, the trading price of Bitcoin was around $63,824, and that of Ethereum was around $1,891, neither exceeding their recent trading ranges.
