Bitcoin stabilizes at $63,900 as Japan maintains a 1% interest rate

According to CoinMeta, the trading price of Bitcoin on Friday was around $63,900, remaining relatively stable. The Bank of Japan maintained its benchmark interest rate at 1% unchanged, and the hawkish remarks by Governor Haruhiko Ueda did not provoke a strong reaction from the market. Ueda stated that inflation is expected to rise above 2% this fiscal year and pointed out that strong demand and a weak Japanese yen will drive up prices. These two factors have shaped the macro environment for the crypto market this month. The weak yen has facilitated arbitrage transactions in risky assets, and the capital cycle is a factor that Bitcoin closely tracks. The overall market remained calm; Ethereum stayed around $1,885, while BNB, as a major token that performed exceptionally well, rose 3.5% within the day and 4.4% on a weekly basis, currently trading at around $591.
