According to CoinMeta, as reported by Jiemian News, data center developer Nexus Data Centers is raising $15 billion in financing for its AI data center project that serves Anthropic. Google will provide guarantees and supply chips. The project is located in Hubbard in Texas, USA, and includes a 1.6GW power plant. A banking group led by Morgan Stanley is discussing a $14 billion bridge loan and revolving credit facility. Google has agreed to provide billions of dollars in guarantees for the four data center lease agreements and power purchase agreements signed with Anthropic in case it is unable to fulfill its lease and power payment obligations.
