According to CoinMeta, Samsung SDS announced plans to collaborate with Upbit operator Dunamu to expand their stablecoin business. By integrating Samsung's cloud computing, network security, and IT services, along with the blockchain expertise of Dunamu, the aim is to seize opportunities in South Korea's emerging digital asset infrastructure market. Lee Jun-hee, CEO of Samsung SDS, elaborated on this strategy during the company's second-quarter 2026 financial report conference call, describing the firm's recent investments in stablecoins and cryptocurrencies.
