According to CoinMeta, MoonPay has announced the launch of Paybox, a non-hosted payment library that allows users to prepare and execute crypto transactions or make online purchases through ChatGPT and Claude. Users can connect the payment library to ChatGPT or Anthropic and describe transactions in simple language. The AI assistant can research available options, prepare transactions, and execute them within the permissions set by the user. Supported crypto operations include purchasing digital assets with fiat currency, exchanging tokens, moving assets between blockchains, and depositing funds into decentralized finance protocols. Paybox can also handle commercial transactions such as booking flights, restaurant reservations, and online retail purchases. The product is available through the Paybox website, and users must connect it to supported AI platforms via custom connectors. Paybox offers two authorization models, allowing users to define spending limits for the assistant and the types of operations it can perform.
