According to CoinMeta, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that he has informed U.S. President Donald Trump that the UK will not "ignore" the resources of the North Sea, implying that his government will support new oil and gas drilling projects. Previously, there were reports that British government officials were studying a range of options, including approving the development plans for the Jackdaw (jackdaw) and Rosebank (rosebank) oil and gas fields off the Scottish coast, as well as expanding so-called "reconnection development" projects, which involve continuing drilling in the vicinity of existing oil and gas facilities. Trump said this would be "a very good thing" and added, "If he does it in a reasonable way, you will become a wealthy country."
