According to CoinMeta, Robinhood reported record quarterly revenue on July 29th, yet its stock price still fell due to investors' concerns about weak crypto trading and profit quality. Robinhood's total revenue for the second quarter reached $1.31 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32%. Nevertheless, Robinhood's stock closed at $89.84 at the end of trading, down 3.15% from the previous trading day. After the close, the stock price fell another 1.01% to around $88.93. Robinhood's crypto trading revenue decreased by 38% to just $100 million, and the volume of crypto trading in its main applications also fell by 35% year-on-year. Despite the revenue decline, Robinhood is still expanding its digital assets business, launching the public mainnet of Robinhood Chain and planning to introduce crypto services in the UK.
