According to CoinMeta, the Layer 2 network of Shiba Inu, Shibarium, experienced a significant 95% decline in decentralized finance (DeFi) activity over the past week, with only 72 dollars in transaction volume. Although the price of Shiba Inu rose by more than 35% this week, attracting attention from market analysts, the trading activity of Shibarium remained near zero. Data shows that Shibaswap is the only protocol that registered moderate activity on this network, and all 72 dollars in transaction volume came from there.
