Meta is continuing to add separate tools for different users to Facebook. This time, the company is focusing on Marketplace sellers, identity verification, and the video viewing experience, aiming to increase platform activity and make transactions and community interactions more organized.
Sellers have a separate tool
Facebook's new Seller app is designed for users who frequently list products on the Marketplace. Sellers can manage their products, reply to buyer messages, and view product performance within the app.
Marketplace currently has over 430 million product listings per month. Meta also stated that Facebook has over 1.1 billion monthly active users, which is one of the key reasons why younger users still use the platform.

Selfie verification covers multiple services.
The new verification system allows users to confirm their identity as a real person by taking a selfie. The verification badge will appear on the profile and will also appear in Facebook Dating, Marketplace, and Groups.
The mark is a checkmark in a white circle, unlike the blue badge for the paid Meta Verified subscription. Meta says the verification is free.
The video interface and AI are also under testing.
Facebook is also testing a full-screen, immersive video browsing interface. Users may see this interface first when they open the app. Meta says the update will first roll out in overseas markets with "more video content," before entering the US market next year.
The company also plans to integrate AI into its applications to help users automatically write product descriptions or search for answers in groups. Meta's continuous launch of new applications in recent months indicates that it is accelerating product segmentation and feature iteration.
