Swiss banks continue to expand their access to crypto asset services. Following its partnership with digital asset bank Sygnum, BancaStato has made regulated crypto trading capabilities available to its clients, accessible directly on web and mobile devices.
Supports four types of tokens
Currently, customers can buy, hold, and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Solana through the bank's channels. Users can complete these operations within the banking system without having to switch to a separate crypto platform.
Access to Sygnum infrastructure
This service runs on Sygnum's B2B platform and is integrated with Avaloq's core banking system. BancaStato therefore does not need to build a separate order management system to launch its crypto trading business.
Banks emphasize risk control and efficiency.
According to the disclosed information, this approach helps improve scalability, risk management, and operational efficiency. For traditional banks, it also lowers the system transformation barrier to launch digital asset businesses.
This launch demonstrates that the Swiss banking system continues to expand its coverage of crypto asset trading, and banking channels are becoming another entry point for mainstream digital asset services.
